SOONG THAI MASSAGE (WITH OIL)
In this, our signature massage, we use natural oils in combination with Thai pressure point therapy and Yoga stretching protocols. The therapist will use her feet, elbows, hands and knees to bring the body back into a state of harmony. This treatment is perfect to improve blood circulation, lymphatic drainage (blood toxins are removed) and reduce tension. Let the therapist relax your mind, rejuvenate your body and soothe the muscles.
TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE (WITHOUT OIL)
This massage is extremely helpful to relieve fatigue, muscular cramping and nervous tension. It assists in making muscles and joints supple. It stimulates the blood and lymph circulation for physical fitness improvement. It improves body immunity and longevity. The therapist uses a series of poses and stretches, which combined with acupressure, helps to stretch your muscles and relieve pain and stress.
AROMA/SWEDISH MASSAGE
In this soft touching style of massage, the therapist lubricates the skin with massage oil and performs various strokes that warm up and work the muscle tissue, releasing tension and breaking up muscle “knots”, called adhesions. This, combined with the use of aroma therapy oils, promotes relaxation and clarity.
SPORTS / DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
This sports/deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscles and the connective tissue and fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top, or superficial muscles. Recommended for individuals who train hard or experience consistent pain. Also therapeutic for those involved in heavy physical activity and patients who have sustained a physical injury.
HOT COCONUT OIL MASSAGE
This specialised oil massage takes advantage of the natural qualities of coconut oil, which contain both antioxidants and vitamin E in high doses. This helps to restore the skin, reduce skin aging, and firm the skin. Along with this, the hot oil massage promotes relaxation, tranquility, and a reduction of any muscle injuries or pains.
THAI HERBAL MASSAGE
This herbal compress massage offers multiple health benefits. It induces deep relaxation, relieves stress and fatigue, and boosts both emotional and physical well-being. The blend of traditional Thai herbs has a invigorating effect on the body and mind, soothing sore and overworked muscles while giving the body’s energy reserves a generous boost.
HOT STONE MASSAGE
This massage is performed by using hot, smooth, basalt stones to help reduce muscular tension. The stones are placed at specific points on the back and in the palms of the hands. The heat warms and relaxes the muscles, which allows the therapist to apply deeper pressure, if desired. Hot stone massage is suited to people who tend to feel chilly or have cold feet and those who prefer a lighter massage.
PREGNANCY MASSAGE
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complimentary choice for prenatal care. Benefits include addressing back pain associated with muscular tension, reducing stress on weight bearing joints, and enhancing the pliability of skin and underlying tissues. Also beneficial for relaxing anxiety and reducing stress which aids for better sleep. Women with normal, low-risk pregnancies can benefit greatly from the variety of massage techniques offered and our therapists focus on their comfort throughout the treatment.
EXPRESS MASSAGE
A massage where your time is of the essence. The Express massage of up to 20 minutes can be aimed to address a specific need of the client. Alternative treatments are: Deep tissue neck and shoulder massage. Reflexology foot massage. Reflexology hand massage. Head massage.
BACK, NECK + SHOULDER
The shoulder and neck together hold up the heaviest part of the body, the head. When the head is held at unnatural angles for prolonged periods of time, the stress on the neck and shoulder muscles is increased tenfold. This stress, through common activities like driving or working on a computer, has become an inescapable part of our daily lives. Back, neck and shoulder massage offers all the benefits of massage, concentrated on that troublesome area of tension, the back.
BACK + FOOT MASSAGE
The combination of foot reflexology and back massage provides a unique method of addressing back pain. The therapist first concentrates on the pressure points in the feet relating to the area of concern in the back. This reflexology allows the body to relax so it can do what it knows best, heal itself. In this state of relaxation, the back massage can be much more effective.
LEG RELAXING MASSAGE
Leg massage helps relax leg muscles and contribute to full-body relaxation. It stimulates blood circulation and assists diminishment of stress and anxiety as well as being beneficial to posture. There is a reason top athletes get massage (and especially legs) every day!
